Solberg have manufacturing foam concentrate since the 1980's and with little doubt have proved themselves to be “The Foam Experts”. Not only have they designed and now manufacture a completely new type of Fire Fighting Foam, they are the only manufacturer to have a product available which meets the highest requirements of the aviation industry, ICAO Level C.

As the UK distributor we are able to supply a complete range of products from Solberg, all of which are completely synthetic - they contain no sediment which can cause clogging and induction problems.
In addition to the traditional range of AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) concentrates, the latest environmentally friendly foam concentrate Re-Healing Foam (RF) is also available. RF is completely Fluorine Free and therefore can be used without fear of prosecution from the authorities. Not only is it safe to use, but it is proven to be extremely effective - independent test results are available showing it is classed as GOOD with all nozzle types when tested under the LASTFire protocols. This is with both fresh and salt water - no other concentrate has been as thoroughly tested. It can be used in a wide variety of applications, low medium or high expansion (see pictures of high ex) and is available as 3%, 6% or an AR type 3x6. Even the 3x6 has been proved effective on polar solvents when inducted at only 3% - This is Solberg's guarantee of “Built-In Safety”. When used at a lower induction rate (<1%) RF can also be used to tackle Class A (wild land or rubber tyres) product fires.
For dedicated Class A performance Solberg Fire-Brake offers a real solution. Perfect for CAFS and effective at 0.1% induction rates, limited water supplies can be made very effective. This is the product of choice in countries such as Greece and Australia where wild land fires pose a real threat.

Solberg acquired by Amerex:
It has been announced that Solberg Scandinavian has been bough by the Amerex Corporation of the USA. This is exciting news for Solberg which to date has been unable to supply it’s high quality products to the US market place. We are expecting a majority of the product range to obtain UL listing, offering the end user more confidence (as if it was needed) in the quality of Solberg foams.
In addition, we are hoping that this will bring the extensive range of Amerex Fire Equipment range to Solbergs existing distribution network. Bookmark this space for more news as it becomes available!
